Mediterranean Wild Mushroom Sauce


Mushroom & Olive Pasta

  • 250g Pasta
  • Stir! it up Mushroom Sauce
  • 1 TBS Olive Oil
  • 1 cup (250ml) milk
  • 1 cup (250ml) cream
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water
  • 1 cup Kalamata Olives - chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper
  1. Prepare 1 package of pasta according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

  2. Hydrate the pasta sauce as per instructions.

  3. Add the drained pasta to the mushroom sauce plus the reserved cup of pasta water, Olive Oil, Kalamata Olives, and Parmesan.

  4. Stir to combine until the cheese has melted into the pasta.

Recipe Notes

Chef's tip: Bacon is a great addition to this recipe.  Any pasta can be used for this recipe.
