Include 2 Packets of 50g Spicy Harissa Salsa Sauce
AIR-DRIED TO 100g MAKES 400/500g HYDRATED SAUCE
100g (2x 50g packets) + 2 cups (500ml) liquid = serves 4; 50g + 1 cup (250ml) liquid = serves 1 or 2
- Mix contents of 100g packet with 400-500ml boiling water.
- Let it rest for a couple of minutes. Stir! and add to meat and vegetables.
This is an extremely versatile sauce. It works brilliantly with grilled meat or fish, roasted veggies or stirred into stews or soup. Harissa is the basic flavouring agent in Tunisian cuisine and is normally very spicy. Our Harissa sauce is made with fresh chilies, red peppers, and fresh tomatoes and is quite mild. If you like your sauce really hot, add some more chilies.
